"Our Mission is to be a vital Christ centered people, diverse in our ministry through worship, outreach, and programs."

Welcome to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, we are a strong, vital parish of approximately 500 members of all ages, occupations, and backgrounds. We exercise our various gifts in worship, learning, and reaching out to the community, the Diocese of Nebraska, and the world. We are traditional, yet progressive, seeking always to worship and to know Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture, in our lives and in the world. If you choose to visit St. Luke’s, you will be warmly welcomed into our midst.

We invite you to consider establishing roots in the worship, tradition, and fellowship of the Episcopal Church. Once you step through our doors, you will become part of the rich history of St. Luke’s, which was established in 1882.  Today we worship in Kearney's oldest church building being used for the purpose for which it was intended, seeking, finding, and glorifying God.

Come and see and know the One who dwells with us from generation to generation.
